XIV Escuela Internacional NanoAndes & I Escuela NANOMER 2025

Objectives of the edition

La Escuela tuvo como objetivo fortalecer la formación avanzada de estudiantes latinoamericanos en nanotecnología aplicada a la salud, el medioambiente y otras áreas estratégicas, mediante la participación en sesiones teóricas y prácticas, conferencias especializadas y espacios de discusión científica.

Academic Axes and Activities

Clases magistrales

Se dictaron 7 clases magistrales a cargo de especialistas de Francia, España, Argentina, Bolivia y Chile, enfocadas en nanomedicina, materiales avanzados, interacción de la luz con la materia y medioambiente.

Talleres experimentales

Se realizaron 19 talleres prácticos orientados al desarrollo de habilidades en: síntesis de nanopartículas y materiales avanzados, métodos de análisis y caracterización, ensayos biológicos con modelos simples, nanomembranas y materiales funcionales

Foros de discusión científica

Se desarrollaron 3 foros de discusión dedicados a la caracterización de materiales, nanomedicina, sostenibilidad y medioambiente, generando espacios de reflexión científica interdisciplinaria.

Sesión de pósteres

La sesión de pósteres contó con la presentación de 40 investigaciones estudiantiles, promoviendo el intercambio académico y el reconocimiento a los trabajos destacados.

Alcance regional e internacional

Con la participación de 109 asistentes de 13 países, la Escuela fortaleció la Red NanoAndes y promovió alianzas académicas entre América Latina y Europa, consolidando un espacio de cooperación científica y formativa.

Student Selection Guidelines

School Objective

To strengthen the advanced training of Latin American students in the field of nanotechnology applied to health, environment and other strategic areas, through active participation in theoretical and practical sessions, lectures and scientific discussions.

Note:

No second call will be made if the number of applications exceeds 200 candidates.

Application Requirements

✓ General Requirements
  • Be a regular student in a program related to the school, ideally graduate level
  • Accreditation through valid certificate

Note: Young researchers may apply, but are not eligible for scholarships.

Scholarships and Benefits

Available Scholarships

Limited number of food and accommodation scholarships for selected students.

Scholarships are awarded according to priority order and budget availability. 
Young researchers: May participate but are not eligible for scholarships.
