Pedagogical Innovation and Collective Construction in Nanomer
New training resources available
As part of Work Package 2 (WP2), Dr. Xavier Cattoën, WP2 Coordinator, developed online training resources that are now available on the Moodle platform and on our YouTube channel.
Course: Introduction to Porosity in Materials
- Definitions and applications
- Interstitial porosity
- Cylindrical porosity
- Synthesis of meso-structured materials
- Methods for measuring porosity
Available on YouTube: Watch the full course
These materials are part of NANOMER’s commitment to providing open and accessible content to strengthen teaching and learning in nanosciences.
Building the NANOMER White Book
Work Packages 2 and 9 are moving forward with the preparation of the NANOMER White Book, a collaborative publication that will bring together the academic and pedagogical contributions developed within the framework of the project.
What is a White Book?
A white book is a strategic document that gathers knowledge, findings, and recommendations in a clear and accessible way, serving as a reference for students, teachers, and institutions.
In NANOMER, the White Book will integrate theory, practice, and experiences from the NanoAndes Schools, through 8 to 12 chapters that will combine:
- Conceptual depth
- Illustrative experiments
- Narratives on the pedagogical network experience
To identify the topics and teachers who will participate in the development of the White Book content, we have set up an online survey. We invite you to participate and share it with colleagues and project educators. Every contribution is essential to reflect the richness and diversity of NANOMER’s collective work.
